The Lord reveals His name to Moses
Read Exodus 3:11-15; 6:2-3; 20:7 ; John 6:35; 8:12,58; 10:7,11; 11:25; 14:6; 15:1 and Revelation 1:8
Ever wonder if God has a name? God has several different names. In these passages God tells us his name is "I AM". Seems like an odd name, doesn't it? "I AM" is the name God chose for Himself. Many believe this name says it all. "Who is in charge?" God says "I AM". "Who is the greatest?" "I AM". This name "I AM" shows that God is all. There is nothing else but God. Jesus also said this himself in John 8:58. He did not say "I was" or "I will be" but He said "I AM" . What does all this mean to you today? It means the same thing to as it did to Moses: GOD IS EVERYTHING YOU NEED.

Wow! I love this devotion PJ! I am the root of David, I the first and the last, I am the Lion of Judah, I am, I am. I am alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. Lamb of God, I am faithful and true...and on and on, He is and Is to Come...Love you sweetheart!
